The Beaufort Housing Authority is a self- governing public agency created by state and local laws and administered by a Board of Commissions appointed locally. Housing is provided through federal programs of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The mission of Beaufort Housing Authority is to provide affordable housing in a safe community environment and to assist those we serve as they strive to achieve self sufficiency.
Board of Commissioners Meeting:
The Board of Commissioners monthly meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 5:00 P.M. at the offices of the Beaufort Housing Authority, 1009 Prince Street, Beaufort, SC.
