Beaufort Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified legal firms to provide services in all legal matters. BHA intends to award contract(s) to one or more firms that have extensive experience in providing legal services to public and non-profit organizations, specifically to Housing Authorities and their related affiliates or instrumentalities. The selected respondent(s) must have expertise in a wide array of legal services that meet the needs of the organization, including real estate development with Low Income Housing Tax Credit; Tax Exempt bond and other financing methods; Federal and State Employer Labor and Benefits Laws; South Carolina State Housing Authority and other related state statues; South Carolina Tenant/Landlord Laws; and knowledge of HUD Federal Subsidy Programs.
