Attention: Public Housing Applicants

The Beaufort Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List will be open for 1-bedroom units in Yemassee Heights and Sandalwood ONLY

Date: January 5, 2026 - January 16, 2026
Time: 9:00 am -12:00 pm ONLY

Important Information:

• Applications will be accepted for 1-BEDROOM UNITS only for YEMASSEE HEIGHTS and Sandalwood APARTMENTS.
• PLEASE PICK UP APPLICATION FROM BEAUFORT HOUSING AUTHORITY OFFICE PRIOR TO January 5, 2026.
• Applicants currently on wait lists for other Housing Programs must apply separately for this program, and will not lose their position on the current wait list.

Application Requirements:

• All applications must be completed, including all required supporting documents.
• INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

• Proof of household composition and income will be required for all applicants.

Gross annual household income must be at least the following:

• 1-Bedroom Apartment
  • Minimum Gross Income: $34,000.00
  • Starting Rent: $875.00
    
    
• 2-Bedroom Apartment
  • Minimum Gross Income: $37,800.00
  • Starting Rent: $945.00
    
    
• 3-Bedroom Apartment
  • Minimum Gross Income: $45,680.00
  • Starting Rent: $1,142.00

Note: All units are flat rent (Rent does not change based on income)

• Income must be verifiable
• Household size must match bedroom size
• Additional eligibility requirements may apply
• Placement is based on availability and waiting list order
